jeremiahKeymasterI see the CBGB has a live webcast page (windows media) http://cbgb.com/livestreams.htm
Is anyone planning on capturing this? I won’t be around during showtime.

September 11, 2005 at 4:32 pm #112558
AnthonyParticipanti’m not having any luck.
i dont know what time it starts, and i can’t get the stream to play in any player i have.September 11, 2005 at 6:32 pm #112559
AnnastefkaParticipantBummer, friend went to hospital to have baby this evening so I knew I would miss this show but….
lo and behold baby came with only 3 hours of labor
came home to find that none of my media players will open this up either.
Need to call the club and tell them "Hey fix your f*@king stream problem"
I mean, I always get worked up for J and then this, now
I get to spend the rest of the evening listening to my husband play
the latest "Warcraft"
"Ready to Work, Master"
I guess I’ll go read a book or something. :-September 12, 2005 at 8:10 am #112560

jeremiahKeymasterI was pretty pissed too. Returned early enough to catch at least some of the show only to find the stream links were shit. GRRRR.
I emailed and called but have yet to see a result. Maybe they will put it in the archive.

AnthonyParticipantmaybe they’ll just go out of business, and J can play the Maryland Theatre in downtown Hagerstown, MD
September 13, 2005 at 9:39 am #112563
lookitssamParticipantYes, if by Hagerstown you mean Baltimore.

King TubbyParticipantAt the CBs show J had some big, shiny, silver amp head powering the Marshall amp he was using — has anyone seen him use that before/know what it is? It was fucking loud, that’s for sure, and sounded like it looked — very sharp and bright. I still can’t get over the version of "Alone" he played. He should play with Thorpe on flute more often.
