What a great show. The sound quality was excellent. The guys sounded better than they ever did (I mean it!). They are so tight now. Hearing J’s guitar is like standing in a hurricane. They are a wall of sound. I can’t remember the complete list,(someone post it, please) but they played almost everything I wanted to hear. Little Fury Things was pure bliss. After the show, we went backstage and talked to J and Lou for awhile (Murph was talking to some other people). It was a pleasure to finally meet them. I felt like a trembling teenage fan again! They were all nice enough to sign a show poster, which my wife is getting framed today. Thanks for a great time, guys!
Do anything in your power to catch a show on this tour or you will regret it forever!
Oh, yeah, Superchunk opened and did a set of songs from their first three albums, too. They rocked the house down!
