Bucky RamoneParticipantI just came back from a party where I spinned some records, kept the people in motion with some of the following:
Stone Roses – Fool’s Gold
Black Crowes – Remedy
Public Enemy – Fight the power
dEUS – Suds and Soda
Beastie Boys – Body movin’ (Fatboy Slim remix)
Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough (Michael Jackson mentioned on Freakscene, it somehow feels okay to me….. )
Talking Heads – Burning down the house
B-52’s – Planet Claire
the Knack – My Sharona
Stereo MC’s – Deep down and dirty
Bar-Kays – Holy Ghost
Madonna – Music
Cult – She sells sanctuary…and suddenly this question occured to me:
What song/music does get your body moving?

rosaParticipantHey Den,
I couldn’t help but be reminded of this story:
I went to OzzFest earlier this year, and as the tickets were free, the seats were subsequently pretty crummy, and we were pretty far back.
When Marilyn Manson were on, this white trash girl decided to give her white trash boyfriend a lap dance during the entire set. It was really awful; she was wearing denim shorts and a bikini top, and her dancing was just too over the top and exaggerated. Mostly we were just pissed because we were so far back, and we had to keep craning our necks so we could see the band around her gyrating butt.
I have to laugh now; whenever I hear "The Dope Show" I can see her bumping her hips in time– "We’re–all–stars–now"…too funny.
But as far as what gets Rosa’s body moving? Pretty much anything that’s not too slow. But "Cherchez La Ghost" by Ghostface Killah is high up on that list. Also, "Express Yourself" by Madonna, "Sure Shot" by the Beastie Boys (I have a great live version on tape somewhere), and of course, anything by the Reverend Horton Heat. But those are just a few

HansioneParticipantHi D.J Buck,
I start jumping up and down when I hear "too tough to make some friends" by the Backyard babies, I realy dance when "Slippery People" by the talking Heads is on the air. I do the dame with Madonna"s Impressive Instant. When I am in a sentimental mood and reminish a schoolparty I’m in to E.W & F…doing "In the Stone", but don’t tell my friends that I actualy went to school November 12, 2001 at 4:17 pm #66232
