Bucky RamoneParticipant….loved the short but fine John Peel tribute yesterday evening….
Too much Coldplay tonight, although their cover of Kylie’s "Can’t get you out of my head" was quite cool….

rambleonParticipantyeah, that was pretty good …
thought kasabian were excellent …
i was wrong though … primal scream aren’t headlining, they’re supporting the headliners basement jaxx (why??) on the pyramid stage … and basement jaxx goes on at 22.35 london time, so i guess primal scream will go on around 21.00 …
my mom’s cousin is in town + we’ve agreed to go to dinner w/him tonight … hope i make it back by then !!!

BBC2 only showed two songs
, and the sound was catastrophic to say the least
but that seemed a more general problem with the BBC2 coverage this year, mostly the sound was terrible, started with the White Stripes on Friday, with Meg White’s drums drowning out all other sounds, and it ended with Basement Jaxx on Sunday, sounding like coming through a cheap AM transistor radio, with the volume turned up to 10…

rambleonParticipantyeah, the sound did seem a bit off this year …
over here they definitely showed more than 2 primal scream songs … in fact, i’m pretty sure they broadcast the whole set …

…
ps. the two songs I saw were ‘Movin’ on up’ & ‘Rocks’, and yes, Bobby G. surely had had too much of certain intoxicating substances
