AGAPParticipantHey SmileMonkey,
Hope you ran into a couple FreakScene members at the show, especially one with a camera
No doubt the show was a thrill, would be cool if someone would fill in the blanks

green thumbParticipantWow! What a show. I love the fact that J played his solos ELECTRIC! The best of both worlds, I tell ya. Solo "acoustic" J, but then he kicks it over to "electric" for the solos. Blew my mind! Opened up with Thumb, then Blowin it. Other songs he played, but not necesarily in order: What else is new, Keep the glove, Little Furry things, Ammaring, Same Day, Severed Lips, Get Me, Drawerings, Flying Cloud, Wagon, and Repulsion. Also played a brand new song. I know there were others, but I can’t think so good right now, still in a "fog", hehe. Thanks for coming to Baltimore J, you da man.

green thumbParticipantHe also played Waistin and Quest, just remembered. J took requests from the audience, which was sweet. He was very mellow, as usual, but seemed to be in a good mood. He drank water this time (last time I saw him solo he did shots of whiskey). At the end of the show, J shook hands and signed autographs for a few minutes. I thought Sea of Cortez was kind of lame, a few good songs but overall just didn’t do it for me.

SmileMonkeyParticipantHey, guys, Green Thumb is right. What an amazing show!!! J played for a really long time and was very "personable." Chatted, shook hands, took requests, and even signed an autograph.
I think Green Thumb has the play list down pretty well, but I can’t be sure. Call me selfish but I’m more concerned with enjoying the show than keeping track of what was played.
I was kind of aggitated by the fact that some one almost knocked over the microphone and stand (coming very close to destroying a beautiful guitar) trying to climb on stage to steal J’s stuff. There was also a guy standing in front of me who was actually licking the amp at one point. Hey, for anyone who was there and not from Baltimore, we don’t all act this way!
All in all it was a fantastic night. I wish I’d have realized that I could take a camera!!

Severed LungParticipantI went to the show with Green Thumb and a few other J fans. They also played Same Day.
I was yelling for QUICKSAND. (great acoustic song)
I LOVE QUICKSAND. Its the dino song i first tried to play on my guitar. But J didnt play it. I am sure he heard me – but i guess he wasnt prepared to play that.
It was gr8 to see J especially since the accident. He did seem to walk gingerly and getting out of the chair after playing he looked a lil stiff.
The show was gr8 and I think baltimore fans showed J that we really appreciate him.
Highlights of the show for me were Ammaring, Drawerings, Thumb, Get Me and of course seeing J alive and KICKING!
Didnt really notice someone trying to steal his pedals- but we did notice J take them off the stage with him.
