Bob TuckerParticipantThe other day I was listening to "Air America" on my lunch break, and after a commercial break the lead in song to the Randy Roades show was Out There. It got me thinking what J’s political preference might be. I would have to imaging that he swings to the left but I don’t know for sure. Anybody have any ideas? I would hate to think that he supports our current administration , that would really bumb me out.

stannerParticipanthey now this kinda question kinda bothers me…
tell ya why…friends and neighbors come up to me and because i really am a music freak they ask me stuff like ‘is Prince gay?’ ‘was Johhny Ramone Republican?’ etc.
i tell them all listen to the music-its really only about the MUSIC .
in these days of celebrity justice-tell all books and exposes
what their politics-sexuality-compulsions-habits are, are all beside the point IMHO

(so let me get this right…if you find out J is right-wing, you are going to dismiss the great music he has made all his life?)June 5, 2005 at 7:39 am #109899

If I found out that J was a righty, I would order direct TV and watch Fox news til I thought that lesbians were imoral, sinful, un-patriotic people.

I remember a story during the beginning of the More Light tour, the guys were watching the election results on the club screen…they were disappointed to say the least!!! So yeah, J does not support gw in any way, not sure who he supports though…

OSXParticipantthe bumper music is picked at the discression of the show’s producer (tim allen) and Randi.
J is definately not a fan, or a supporter, of the current administration.

Nah…I dont think J. really likes Bush, well, I mean W. Anyone who has watched Bowling for Columbine or Farenheit 911 shouldn’t like W anymore. W blows. He was a terrible businessman, so why? sonicdeathmonkeyParticipantFirst of all, J is from Amherst. I dont know a single person from Amherst who is a Bush supporter. Second of all, J’s political affiliation (if he even has one cuz we all know how aloof he is) is irrelevant. He doesn’t take a stand on politics in his music becuz he doesnt have to. But in all honesty I don’t really think he is a republican/ Bush booster. But if he were does it matter? And are you serious in saying that you will change your core beliefs just to conform with a rock musician that you dont even personally know? That’s pretty weak-willed, man. And by the way, don’t you EVER, EVER badmouth lesbians!!!! They make life worth living. I wouldn’t even get up in the morning if I knew that there wasn’t some beautiful, sensual girl on girl action going on somewhere in the world. It is not a sin! It’s a miracle of nature. A world without lesbians is a world that I do not want to know. ‘Nuff said.
