This Thursday, after an excellent in-store gig in an Amsterdam record-store I had a sort talk with Ryan Adams, it went like this:

dB: ‘Thanks for three great shows in a years time’
RA: ‘Thank you’, and looks at me closely…
RA: ‘You were the guy wearing that Waco Bros T last week…’
dB: ‘Yep!’
RA; ‘love that band, great guys, great music, but I gotta leave now, they’re going to kill me for arriving late….’

and after a firm handshake he jumps into a taxi to head off to some TV-studio to make a very short appearance in a famous Dutch late-night show….
