Road trip did lead to some new fav’s on the disc player..although some of them are pretty old tunes…very cool ones though.

1…Gang War…Crime of The Century…Johnny Thunders and Wayne Kramer on guitar…gotta love that jangly guitar. Scott Morgans little brother on drums…very sweeet!!. Has 2 sets of studio stuff from June and Oct 1979 and 12 live songs from a show in Montreal in 81.
Absolutely amazing songs, Crime of The Century, MIA, King of The Gypsies and Hey Thanks are the stand out tracks on this one. Just too bad about the Junkie Business with Thunders(AKA Johnny Genzale), Wayne Kramer pretty much blasted him on his solo release Citizen Wayne…check out Snatched defeat from the jaws of Victory…truth definitely!!! Oh well RIP Johnny

Heartbreakers…Vive Le France…this one is so cool, great live stuff. Even features ex Clash drummer Tory Crimes on some tracks…does his best Nolan thats for sure. Great pic of Jerry Nolan on the cover, very cool purple suit [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

Hellacopters…picked up a couple of singles…not Disappointment Blues sadly but picked up The Devil Stole the Beat From The Lord with that wickedly cool song Holiday Cramps and Be Not Content. Also Picked up Move Right Out Of Here which also includes the songs Heart Of The Matter…sweet…Makes It Alright and a live cut of The Devil stole….etc. Just can’t get enuf of these guys, definitely white guy jangly guitar but hey its what I like [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

Damned BBC Sessions…Too cool, am a Damned Disciple from way back…way way back actually. Really nice to hear some of these tracks again, sorta reintroduced me to some of the songs…Melody Lee, Love Song, Neat Neat Neat…very cool.

Love As Laughter…Destination 2000…pretty cool although doesn’t contain one of my fav songs by them I’m a Bee…at least that what it was called when I downloaded it [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]
