Hey,

Beaster has not left my discman for a few days now….incredible disc!!! Good call on New Day Rising, Celebrated Summer off that one may replace Beaster..at least briefly

Good news though, Mould has completed recording something new…release date of this fall sometime

So many good Sugar singles, Helpless, Good Idea, Gee Angel…just for starters. Have to add those to the rotation

Mattman made an interesting point earlier about having music fill the room versus just the cerebral experience of headphones. Very true, part of what I love about Mascis shows is the sonic blast waves you get from the stage…too cool. Something to be said though for headphones…intense experience. I saw the Flaming Lips during their headphone tour…MABD, got the chance to experience both which was pretty damn odd but strangely cool. Got the sonic blast from the band, amazing visuals and some clarity with the headphone/radio signal deal. Kind of an isolating experience though, but when you looked around and noticed that everyone has the same goofy grin you have…it really was cool.

Sorry to be going on, just a bit shiny right now
