Got 2 Richard Buckner albums: ‘Devotion + Doubt’ (great album, great title as well…) and his latest one, ‘The Hill’, based on poems by Edgar Lee Masters (‘Spoon River Anthology’). It’s a fascinating album telling about the lives and deaths of people in a small town in Illinois, fascinating stuff, only ‘problem’ is that it is recorded as just one 34-minute track….
He also appears on "Real, the Tom T. Hall Project", a tribute to another great storytelling songwriter!
