His UK gig at the Empire was great – his music always sounded better live. Not to say that the album ain’t good, there are some cracking tracks on there (and some trademark weirdasfunk lyrics – "age 19 I was kidnapped by Turkish pirates"). But he looked happy as a solo (ish) artist – expect good things.
