The beer thing is odd. Really depends on how much of an asshole the person at the register wants to be. I have seen people turned away because they were purchasing beer and had a minor with them. Just strange. They are only responsible for the person making the purchase so any inquiries other than that are just bullshit. Oddly enough I was never carded until I was actually legal!!?? Strange.
