I’m all about solos myself, of coarse I’m a guitarist and that tends to help.

I’ve pissed off my share of people by soloing too much back when I was first really getting the hang of it. I’ve learned to better tell where a solo needs to go since then, but sometimes it is cool to just open up.

I also improv all of my solos. Samwise is right about Steve Vai and the likes… I never could get into that ultra technical stuff. It’s like it has no soul behind it. If that’s the case, why not let a computer do it for you..? [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]
