Somewhere in 1992 I heard from a guy at school he listened to bands I never heard of. One of them was Dinosaur Jr. In the city where I lived you couldn’t buy those kind of music, so when I was was in a bigger city at a time, I tried to find a cd of Dinosaur Jr. I found two: Green Mind and Where you been. The salesman told Green Mind was better, so I listened to that one. I was really amazed! The first song, The Wagon, was nothing I had ever heard before (beautiful solo) and it is still one of my favorites. From that moment I’m a big fan and over the years I managed to buy all the albums. Unfortunate J/Dinosaur Jr didn’t come to the Netherlands very often, but now I’m looking forward to see him play at 12-6 in Amsterdam!
