Summer ’94. Lying in bed trying to sleep. I’m not tired and it’s too hot in my room. Phone rings. Friend of mine is making a lot of noise in the other end. Can’t make out much, just bits like "Come, shit, wow" etc. Obviously I think my friend has cracked and is in danger of hurting himself. Runs over to his house,storms into the house. Just to find him sitting infront of the stereo with the biggest grin ever. When he pushed the play button I knew why. It was "Drawerings." It was unlike anything I’d heard before. It was heaven on a compact disc.
