Hey Salmiguy,

That bit about the bee gee’s scared the crap out of me….they are the antichrists to me [img]images/smiles/converted/rolleyes.gif[/img]

I got pretty lucky as a kid, my parents were listening to Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and other sorta cool but odd stuff. Also had a uncle who was a very bad teenager, got shipped out to live with us….cool influence on me…don’t think my parents would have agreed back then though. He played tons of Stones, Bowie, Animals….even CCR [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

So that was my main musical influence thru the early years. When I started to go see live shows…underage minor at the time…some local groups started doing Pistols covers. That was it I was hooked, started checking out local Punk scene…very small at the time. Haven’t looked back since, have made some of the best friendships thru music. Friendships that don’t rely on geographical location but just that initial connection around music…intensely cool [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]

Also wanted to say you should check out the thread in open topic….guilty pleasures. Sure you have a few…like we all do [img]images/smiles/converted/tongue.gif[/img]
