There are just so many. To start, "Little Fury Things." First, the intro with that insistent wah-wah and J just shrieking…it was magical. Then when J and Lee Ronaldo came together, both of their voices faltering (that gets back to that raw/imperfect aesthetic). The tiny break that comes with the maracas (is that what they are?). And the final chill that just sent me into sheerly ecstatic melancholy: the final verse where that distortion just drones and tugs at the heart. What a song, what a band.
