Jane Siberry has roots in my province,I think she was born in Ontario,but I think her family is from here;I never was that into her but she is better then some other canadian artists.
Unpredictable too,in an interview for her fav music pick,she picked a Brazilian jazz song.I thought that was cool.
Ever hear of Holly Cole?she was born here,she did a Tom Waits tribute album a few years ago,some songs work better then others,but her version of"Heart Of Saturday Night" and low key take on "I don`t wanna grow up"(totally diffrent then the Ramones take on it)are pretty good.
