Okies, I guess that someone would be me
[img]images/smiles/converted/rolleyes.gif[/img]. In fact, I feel kinda stupid having dissed american football the day b4 all hell broke loose over there in the states, but who knew [img]images/smiles/converted/frown.gif[/img].
Anyways, the reasons I refer to real football as football and not that word .. what was it .. hrmpf .. "soccer", are:
1. It’s played with a normal spherically shaped ball and not a friggin ellipsoid.
2. The players use their feet to move the ball across the field, rather than using the "ball" as a lame excuse to have a massive group hug over.
Well I’m kidding here, I’m sure american football can be hot to watch, but I just never could get into it. I’ve watched a few superballs, but only to end up either bored or drunk. Prolly I just need to learn more about it, that’s all.
