I never saw the Sonic Youth influence in Slint…maybe the use of harmonics…Big Black though yeah definitely…though Mr. Albini’d be embarrased to say so…considering his love for Slint…Big Black are fairly influential…as are Shellac…the use of repetition should not be underestimated.
