New York Dolls…mutated into The Heartbreakers…huge influence on early punk in London. Great guitar sounds definitely, Personality Crisis by the Dolls…nothing like it!!Jerry Nolan was a wicked drummer, gotta love a guy who had hot pink drums!!!
Damned…first punk band in London to release single/album and 1st to tour the US. Their 1st album Damned Damned Damned is a classic in every sense of the word…and yes D I mean every single song [img]images/smiles/converted/eek.gif[/img]
MC5…Broke a lot of ground in Detroit…and many laws [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img] Wayne Kramer and Sonic Smith on guitar…influenced many of my modern day guitar heroes
Husker Du…One of my personal favs…obviously [img]images/smiles/converted/rolleyes.gif[/img]
Dinosaur JR…no explanation needed
